No es lo más natural

During the 1990s and 2000s, the artist Octavi Comeron outlined a series of questions and proposals in relation to issues such as the role of art in the work imagery of the post-Fordist society of knowledge; the diffusion of notions such as productivity in cultural processes; or the assumption of an idea of the common in order to deploy new forms of social bonding. No es lo más natural. Writings and works by Octavi Comeron (1965-2013) is a compilation of Comeron’s posthumous work, where the author reflects with extraordinary skill on the relationship between art and its conditions of production within advanced capitalism. It also includes essays by various scholars who explore the articulation of these issues in Comeron’s work and in the field of aesthetic economics today.
