My name is Francisco Díaz, I am an architect, the Director of Studies of the Bachelor Degree in Design and professor of Tools at the Spaces Itinerary at BAU. I hold a Master’s degree in City and Sustainable Architecture from the University of Seville.
Since 2015 I coordinate and research Autofabricantes, a project of collective creation of Open-source 3D printable prosthetics .This project is connecting institutions, knowledge from different fields and technologies in order to improve the quality of life, specifically for people with functional diversity.
I am a researcher at the BAU PhD Unit and I am working on a thesis that connects fields of knowledge from design to occupational therapy in order to open up towards other ways of doing and understanding the world.
