My name is Marta Camps, I am the pedagogical director of BAU, College of Arts and Design of Barcelona. I am also a member of the Research Unit of the Institute of Political Materialities (IMP). I hold a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (UB), an MA in Art Theory and Criticism from the same university and a PhD in Pedagogical Innovation from the University of Vic (UVIC).
I research about the way we learn and teach creative practices, what I call knowledge in action. I embrace and practice research and experimentation in projects that are based on art and design practices – where the disciplinary boundaries of knowledge are blurred and where social action is meaningful.
I assist doctoral theses that deal with topics related to pedagogy, creativity, politics of matter and rare epistemologies.
