I am Carla Boserman, Art Department coordinator at BAU, College of Arts and Design of Barcelona I hold a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville and a Master’s Degree in Communication, Culture and Digital Citizenship (Medialab-Prado-URJC).
I research from the drawing practice. I am interested in graphic research methods and their potential in social research. My work also deals with material epistemologies, and how they articulate between art, design and humanities.
I have collaborated in projects of tactical and participative urbanism, in a project of recovery of neighborhood memory in la Barceloneta and in a series of communities related to shepherding in Extremadura and the Basque Country. I am interested in researching within contexts that allow me to enter into dialogue with other communities, practices and knowledge.
My doctoral thesis is about live and in-context drawing. It proposes an approach to ethnographic drawing from art, the political and the collective.
