I am Cris Noguer Guardiola, designer, researcher and teacher.
I am a member of the IMP Research Unit. I am currently teaching the subject Material Cultures and Ecologies of Design, on the Master’s Degree in Design Research at BAU. I have a degree in Industrial Design and Product Development from the Universitat de Girona, a Bsch in Industrial Design from Napier University and an MFA Interior Design from Parsons The New School for Design.
My research focuses on innovations and transformation for ecologically sustainable futures. Understanding design as a socio-cultural meshing, and exploring its implications through matter and the processes that make it possible.
I have worked in Chile, India, New York and Barcelona in organisations of different sizes, from a small design studio to a multinational company. I currently work as a freelancer and I am part of the Holon Collective and L’Afluent.
