I am an artist, researcher and teacher.
I have a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona and a degree in Web Applications Development from the Institut Obert de Catalunya. I collaborate with bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes in many institutions such as the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, the University of the Basque Country and the Public University of Navarre.
I work with voice and listening, from performance, sound and through a critical approach to technology. I am interested in approaches that distort the nature of the voice, exposing the exclusions generated by normative ways of thinking about it, listening to it and producing it.
In my doctoral thesis I researched the relationships of mutual affectation that we can establish with synthetic voices such as Amazon’s Alexa, by paying attention to their difference, their technical genealogies and their material processes of production.
