Nataly Dal Pozzo PhD

My name is Nataly Dal Pozzo, I am a professor of History of Design at BAU, College of Arts and Design of Barcelona. I hold a BA in Art History, and postgraduate studies in Philosophy (Aesthetics), Art and Literature. I hold a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Vic. I have been a member of the Centro de Investigaciones Estéticas (CIE-ULA) and external collaborator of the UNIR. My areas of interest are Aesthetics, History of Design and Contemporary Art.

My doctoral thesis was developed around the controversy between the artist Antoni Tàpies and the group of Catalan conceptual artists in the 1970s and 1980s. The thesis, among other objectives, approaches Tàpies’ work proposing an interpretation from a conceptualist perspective.
